The Journal of Strategic and Military Studies is an international, peer-reviewed, trilingual journal (Arabic, English, German, French, Spanish ) published by the Arab Democratic Center for Strategic, Political, and Economic Studies in Berlin, Germany. It is a member of the International Association of Peer-Reviewed Journals, and a member of the Crossref global database
The journal focuses on research related to strategic and military studies, security, geopolitics, international relations, strategic planning for development, territorial governance, and the formulation and evaluation of policies and programs, whether in the economic, financial, or social spheres. These issues may have national, regional, or international dimensions. Additionally, the journal publishes research in the humanities and social sciences
The journal is published periodically (quarterly: at the end of March, June, September, and December) and is overseen by an active international scientific board comprising a large group of leading academics from various countries. This board supervises the peer-review process of the research submitted to the journal
The journal adheres to an ethical charter governing its publication standards and an internal regulation that organizes the peer-review process. The Journal of Strategic and Military Studies also follows the formal and substantive criteria of international peer-reviewed journals in selecting the content for its issues
