This article adresses the concept of "territorial space" as a fundamental concept linked to human beings on the one hand, and their living environment on the other. The focus is on this concept within the context of the development of the competitive landscape associated with cosmetics in France. We have chosen to translate the term "Territoire" as "territorial space" because it aligns with the subject matter and accurately conveys the meaning inherent in the term. While the origins of this concept vary in translation, we find that several researchers also translate it as "earth."
Therefore, the aim of this article is to highlight the concept of "territorial space" and its importance as a fundamental element in the production process at its various stages, while preserving its distinctive characteristics, as well as its evolution within the framework of competitive landscapes. To achieve this, we divided the article into three main axes. The first axis deals with the concept of territorial space in its relations with competitive poles. The second axis addresses the “Cosmetic Valley” model in France as a vital path for territorial space. The last axis discusses and analyzes the dynamics that this territorial space is witnessing with the aim of achieving development.
