Military Training and Opportunities for EnhancingMilitary Capabilities

Abstract

The transformations in the digital world and the changing duties that armies are now performing make it necessary to shed light on military qualification, so that it is able to lead the pace of change and enhance situational awareness, in addition to the fact that education in a proactive manner makes it possible to anticipate future duties. The paper attempts to investigate the factors that would have a direct impact on the quality of military qualification, and discusses four factors: curricula, teaching methods, quality of students, and integration of technology. The paper argues that these factors work in an integrated manner to improve the quality of military qualification and thus bridge the gap between material superiority and military performance on the battlefield.
