Climate has known structural transformations in recent decades, taking the form of climate crises that have brought with it many changes that have preoccupied many thinkers,
researchers and those interested in the environment and the risks that have come to threaten it.
One of the resources significantly affected by this is the olive tree with a long historical and ecological heritage in the Mediterranean region in general, which has adversely affected the region's ecological balance and has had many negative effects, disrupting the ecosystem and posing adjustment mechanisms as an inevitable alternative to the region's population and activities.
The paper analyzed the effects of climate change in the Mediterranean Basin and the major manifestations that show the imbalances of the olive tree in the region and the reasons
behind these effects, and concluded that it is necessary to think about finding possible alternatives to adapt and mitigate the impact of climate change on the olive tree in the
Mediterranean region, in addition to the need to find possible alternatives to adapt and mitigate the impact of climate change on the olive tree .
