Over the last few decades, Morocco's Atlantic coastline has known crucial changes due to the assets, challenges and interests of local and international players, which intersect and diverge at the same time, which caused the problem of the sustainable development of coastal areas. To clarify this situation, we will base ourselves on a case study of the Saharan coastline of the administrative region of Dakhla- Oued Eddahab, which is considered to be one of Morocco's most important Saharan regions. This arid region constitutes a link between the north and south of the kingdom, towards the Pan-African gateway. The Dakhla Oued-Eddahab region benefits from its geopolitical location and geostrategic horizons. This study will also reveal the convergence and divergence between the region's assets and challenges.
