Analysis of the development of military doctrines in modern warfare and the impact of technology on combat operations

Abstract

This study aimed to analysis of the development of military doctrines in modern warfare and the impact of technology on combat operations. It employed both descriptive and inductive approaches, reaching several conclusions, the most important of which were: Modern military doctrines are moving toward increased reliance on advanced technology, which changes the nature of combat operations and contributes to achieving strategic superiority. Furthermore, shifts in military doctrine focus on unconventional warfare, requiring new strategies to confront threats. The study made several recommendations, including: The armed forces should increase their investments in advanced technology, such as artificial intelligence and drones, to enhance combat capabilities. Psychological support should also be provided to soldiers to cope with the stresses resulting from the use of advanced technology in combat operations.
