Abstract

This study explores the future of intelligence work in the context of rapid technological progress, with a particular focus on electronic warfare. It uses a case analysis approach to examine the impact of emerging technologies on intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination processes, as well as their implications for electronic warfare operations.

The research examines key areas such as integrating advanced technologies into intelligence work, data management and analysis challenges, workforce development needs, ethical and legal considerations, international cooperation, and the continuous adaptation required to maintain operational effectiveness.

Through surveys, interviews, and document analysis, the study aims to provide insights into how prepared intelligence agencies and military organizations are to adapt to and benefit from emerging technologies, while identifying potential areas for improvement, capacity building, and policy development.

The findings highlight the transformative potential of technologies such as advanced sensors, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and cyber capabilities, but also underscore the challenges and risks associated with them. The study emphasizes the need for strong strategies, skilled employees, ethical frameworks, international cooperation, and continuous adaptation to successfully navigate the evolving technological landscape. One of the most prominent results of the study was the possibility of developing countries, and Arab countries in particular, entering forcefully into this cyberspace and changing the international balance of power and reshaping the international scene and impact events at the global level.
