Abstract

The study addresses the environmental vulnerability of the Dades oasis by analyzing the ecological situation of the region, which suffers from ecological fragility due to the impacts of climate change, notably the scarcity of water resources and the recurrence of drought years. The study also focuses on exploring the environmental imbalances that threaten the sustainability of the oasis, including soil degradation, water stress, and the destruction of traditional ecological systems. It examines the adaptation strategies adopted by the local population, such as improving water management, cultivating drought-resistant plants, and using traditional methods to protect the soil and preserve biodiversity. The goal of this work is to propose sustainable solutions to help strengthen the resilience of the oasis in the face of future environmental challenges.
