Abstract

This study aimed to identify the impact of fifth-generation warfare on the national security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, examine the strategies of hostile parties in using the media to spread misinformation in the region, and analyze the impact of fifth-generation warfare on trust between citizens and governments in these countries.To achieve the study's objectives, It used descriptive and inductive approaches that combines the analysis of information and data available to understand the impact of fifth-generation wars on (GCC) countries.The results showed that Fifth-generation warfare relies heavily on the integration of advanced technology, which changes the nature of conflicts and increases their complexity. Furthermore, improving cybersecurity and developing effective strategies to counter fifth-generation warfare are vital to ensuring the stability and security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in the future.The study made several recommendations, including: promoting national dialogue among various social and political groups to support national security and reduce divisions resulting from fifth-generation warfare.
